This record (which I own on vinyl) features 11 tunes. Side 1 has 1988-9’s “Big Wheels In The Moonlight” (#1), 1989’s “They Rage On” (#5) & 3 unreleased tunes: “5 Generations Of Rock County Wilsons”, “24 Hour Love” & “Factory Town”. Side 2 features 1988’s “Addicted” (#1) & 5 unreleased tunes: “A Heartache Just Around The Bend”, “Maybe I’m Missing You Now”, “Fool Me Once, Fool Me Twice”, “Long Long Island Nights” & “Those”.

FEATURE SONG # 1:
“Big Wheels In The Moonlight”
While “Addicted” is the reason I bought this album, this song is a very close “2nd favorite”, for what perhaps should be obvious reasons, namely dreaming of road tripping & that wanderlust of seeing the country. Debuting 11/12/1988, this single spent 21 weeks on the country charts & claimed #1 in early 1989. At the time, it was the last of 9 straight country chart toppers for the former England Dan & John Ford Coley duo member; that string had started over 3 years earlier with 1985’s “Meet Me In Montana” (duet with Marie Osmond).

FEATURE SONG # 2:
“A Heartache Just Around The Bend”
Of the unreleased tunes on the 2nd side, this is my absolute favorite with “Long Long Island Nights” in 2nd & the rest of them not really registering with me at all. This song, however, grabbed my attention when I bought the record … & has been relevant a few times in my life, including when I was forced to sell my cars 2012-2013. I’d be willing to bet everyone can identify with this song in some ways; I’m really surprised it was never released as a single … I think it would’ve notched well.
