For 2021, I set out to launch new official OC,SH Events. After protocols for a global pandemic (caused by COVID-19) were eased, I initially reached out to fellow Elgin Area Chamber Of Commerce members in June. Chris of Mozzafiato Gelato & Coffee immediately expressed interest.

After plans were discussed & finalized, I posted this entry, with some personal connections to US 20, 07/06/2021: “Announcing: Cruise Days & Nights”. A few weeks later, we extended the Cruise Days & Cruise Nights through the end of October. I created the Facebook Events, published the events on the EAC Calendar & alerted the Elgin Area CVB to add to their Explore Elgin Area website Events page.
