‘The Flamingo Kid’ is a 1984 comedy film written by Garry Marshall (who directed it), Neal Marshall & Bo Goldmon. While it was the 1st movie to receive the PG-13 rating, it was the 5th movie to be released as such, after ‘Red Dawn’, ‘The Woman In Red’, ‘Dreamscape’ & ‘Dune’. This movie stars Matt Dillon, Richard Crenna, Hector Elizondo, Janet Jones & Marisa Tomei (her film debut).
