1st of 3 in an OC,SH original series, 1 of each of the “Big 3” (GM, Ford, Mopar), of the 1st 3 years of the 1960s: 1960, 1961 & 1962. All 3 are from the adult classic car coloring book from Nephew, colored by me with the colored pencils from Niece, 1st featured in the 01/25/2016 “Monday Night Fun” (seen via THIS LINK HERE) & subsequently featured in the 03/07/2016 “Monday Night Fun” (seen via THIS LINK HERE), the 05/20/2016 “Daily Deals” (seen via THIS LINK HERE) & the 04/20/2017 “Thursday Throwback” (see via THIS LINK HERE). This series begins with the iconic 1960 Chevrolet Corvette.

If you can’t read the blurb at the bottom of the image: “Introduced in 1953, the Corvette became America’s 1st sports car. But it was not until the Corvette was equipped with a V-8 engine in 1955 that it could be included in the muscle car family. Initially available with a 265 cubic-inch V-8, it produced a respectable 255 hp. In 1957 the Corvette became 1 of the fastest production cars on the road with the advent of a new 283 cubic-inch engine & optional fuel injection. With this new combination, the Corvette’s power jumped to 283 hp, an amazing rating of 1 horsepower per cubic-inch. A 1960 model with this powerplant is shown above. By 1962, the Corvette could be equipped with an even bigger 327 cubic-inch engine.”
