This record (which I own on vinyl) is ERâs 11th solo studio album & features 9 tunes. Side A has the un-released âSheâs An Old Cadillacâ, 1988âs âThe Wandererâ (#1), 1988âs âWe Must Be Doing Something Rightâ (#7), 1989âs âThatâs Why I Fell In Love With Youâ (#66), & 1988âs title track (#1). Side B featured 4 un-released tunes: âHeâs A Cheaterâ, âRhondaâ, âWorkinâ Outâ & âI Donât Worry âBout Youâ
FEATURE SONG # 1:
âSheâs An Old Cadillacâ
Itâs probably obvious why this is, perhaps, my favorite Side A song (with âWe Must Be Doing Something Rightâ a close 2nd). An added bonus is the âautomotive art pornâ of various decades of Cadillac excellence featured in the video; take a peak!
FEATURE SONG # 2:
âThatâs Why I Fell In Love With Youâ
Iâm only fond of 1 song on Side B, the song featured below. But, in case you donât jump to 2:49 of the video to hear just that song, including this tune as well. For the record (see what I did there!?), I donât like this song. However, I remember âaccidentallyâ playing it once on 1 of my college radio shows & receiving positive feedback about it. So, maybe it shouldâve done better on the charts? As it is, it was released as a single 05/13/1989, but spent only 10 weeks on the country charts, peaking at #66.
FEATURE SONG # 3:
âHeâs A Cheaterâ
Now, to the song (starting at 2:49 on the video) I really wanted to be the 2nd of 2 songs featured! I mentioned above Iâm only fond of 1 song on Side B, this tune. The very 1st time I played it, I loved it. Why? Iâm not sure, but it has an upbeat melody & is a warning of sorts. I admit, some of the lyrics Iâve âchangedâ at different points in my life to fit some personal situations a bit better. Iâm not the only person who does that, am I!?
