Most pacemakers are installed just below the collar bone, such as in this graphic. My 1st pacemaker (installed during my 2003 open heart surgery) was placed in my abdomen. The 2nd was moved to the “normal” location, with the 3rd, installed in 2015 (& previously mentioned HERE), taking the same space.
