Saturday’s Leadoff Drive: Scale Saturday

To provide depth of scale, Tom used an image of the Anderson SC Police Department building. Depth of scale is critical when shooting small, close-up items. He then printed the image on heavy stock paper (scaled to the vehicles) & placed the image behind the models. “It’s something I came up with after some trial & error with background shots taken from old magazines,” Tom explained. “I’m always on the lookout for backgrounds & have some I haven’t used yet.”
