Radiohead formed in Abingdon, Oxfordshire, England, in 1985 by Thom Yorke, Jonny Greenwood, Colin Greenwood, Phil Selway & Ed O’Brien. Originally released as their debut single 09/21/1992, this song didn’t fare well. Then, re-released in 1993 from their debut album ‘Pablo Honey’, this song became a worldwide hit, reaching #34 on the Billboard Hot 100 & #2 on the Alternative Songs charts. Elsewhere, it reached the top 10 in England (#7), Australia (#6), Belgium (#8) & Norway (#3). The continued to have moderate success on the international stage in the 1990s & early 2000s.

Lou Reed is a musician-singer-songwriter born as Lewis Allan Reed in Brooklyn NY; his solo career spanned decades after 1st being Velvet Underground’s guitarist, vocalist & songwriter. This song hit the airwaves 11/08/1972 as the 1st release from his 2nd album ‘Transformer’; this single peaked at #16 on the Billboard Hot 100. Internationally, it reached #10 in England, #13 in France, #15 in Netherlands & #17 in Italy.
