I opened this page 09/05/2016. In the midst of August 2016, I was disheartened to discover the picasa web albums, originally noted to switch to “view only” format, were removed completely, wiping out my online albums, including the majority of descriptions-captions I’d carefully written for road trip, event & other photos taken 2009 & later. Luckily, I have most of the photos (& some of the captions) saved. These galleries are my attempt to re-create the albums for continued viewing; however, as I predicted, establishing them has become a long process.

My 2004-2008 road trips are still documented HERE, on the website my late friend Ray Buck created for me. I plan to add those road trips here, along with my 09/2009 Route 66 trip, my 08/2010 NorEaster Trek & my summer 2011 Coast-To-Coast journey.

In early February 2019, I browsed some of my “vintage” photos of gatherings I spearheaded ~10 years ago, including several dual Valve Replacement & Adult Congenital Heart Association events. I also found images of automotive gatherings I created & hosted in about the same time frame, along with pictures of various Elgin IL-area cruise nights ~2011. This PHOTO GALLERIES section was originally intended for my road trips; however, the more I reminisced & saw photos, the more I realized, descriptions or not, I need-want to add pics of those Chicago-area events as well. So, you might say I have a renewed enthusiasm to get those documented here online.
